Watch out, web channels are here
Zefrank is a witty guy. His show “The Show” gets over 30,000 viewers a day! (Now I don’t know a brand that will say no to that).
The best thing is that he’s doing it on a shoestring using nothing but a webcam, creativity and talent.
Be careful – it’s addictive!
If you thought a bathroom can’t be sexy – think again.
Just have a look at the KOHLER network on brightcove. I spent more then an hour with their videos and original content. (I’ve even watched their ads!)
LX TV is another channel that is using the brightcove app re-skinned.
LX TV is a N.Y lifestyle channel that features local businesses in a two minute segment.
Even though these are ads, they are giving the user something back.
If you’re ever hungry in N.Y – go and check it out!
Democracy is an open source software to get your channel started and a place to find the most brilliant stories you won’t find on TV. The first time I’ve watched this very entertaining channel I thought that actually, this is what I want to watch on my TV. But I guess traditional media can never be as positive.
GM which is doing a hell of a lot in the online space started a new channel brought to us from Jay Leno’s garage. This is a brilliant concept – Jay is considered to be a world class car enthusiast and a quick peek in his garage was something saved to friends and guests. Now, thanks to GM and their thinking marketing dept. all of us can get a piece of the action.
These web channels provide brands with an amazing opportunity to get brand evangelists, grow their audience and save lots of money.
Are you still considering this print/TV/outdoor campaign?
