Wolf Blass: The eagle deserves a pay check!
Well, there has been a nice development in the Animal Copyright department.
Wolf Blass is recognizing the contribution of a bird to their brand and are willing to start paying.
After emailing Kiel Smith, the consumer relations coordinator at Wolf Blass with my last AC post and Marcel’s post (Cheers mate!) I got this email back:
Dear Tamir,
Apologies for my slow response to your follow-up e-mail.
I have just spoken with the Wolf Blass Management team who have assured
me that they are currently looking at a range of programs and
opportunities to financially support this majestic bird. In terms of the
timeframe moving forward, we would be looking to incorporate these
programs into our 2007-2008 operating budget with implementation to take
affect sometime after July 1st.
If I can be of any further assistance to you please don’t hesitate to
contact me.
Kind Regards,
Kiel Smith
Consumer Relations Coordinator (Australia)
Wolf Blass
It took 2 posts, 2 emails and 2 bloggers to get Wolf Blass into action and I want to thank Kiel and Wolf Blass for doing the right thing. I believe it won’t be long until other brands follow.
All it takes is a few people with blogs and a bit of time…so why not write something about Optus and it’s animal exploitation?
Eagle payday is scheduled to 2007-2008 - I’ll let you know how we go.
